Success Story:

Before the Healthy Workplace Initiatives started I used to feel a bit overwhelmed working at my desk all day and forgetting to take breaks but now love taking part in the Healthy Workplace Initiatives I particularly enjoy the weekly lunchtime yoga sessions, these are fully funded by Frugi and are great to have some exercise and relaxation time. I also take part in the Frugi Surf Committee and think it's great for us to be able to leave work early once a week to surf and enjoy the beach together for whoever wants to join. I joined in the pedometer challenge and this was great for motivating me and the team to get more active. I enjoyed the in house massage that we were given by Frugi, such a treat in the working day and I am looking forward to joining in the weekly guided walks around the Water Ma Trout estate at lunchtimes. These activities have made me feel more positive, productive and I am really grateful that we have such a supportive team at Frugi who put on such great activities, I feel very valued at work.

Being part of the Healthy Workplace initiative has been fantastic for us to focus our activities to ensure our staff have the best opportunities to help improve their physical and mental health and well being in the workplace. We have been thrilled with the number of staff who join in with our activities and are keen to keep encouraging new initiatives through our Frugi Fun Committee and the work of our People Specialist.
