Award goes hand in hand with our internal health initiative, supporting all areas of health and well being in the workplace.

Recent Health and Well Being activities on offer (this year):

Pilates, laughter yoga, flu jabs, health checks, Race for Life, swimathon, Quorn cooking    demonstrations, subsidised healthy canteen, table tennis installed onsite, Stoptober, family funday, CO2 awareness and carbon monoxide monitor giveaway, Movember, massage chair, Take a Hike pedometer challenge, Free fruit day every week, “First Assist” and “Best Doctor” available to all employees, free online weight watchers, family cycle ride.

I think that the Health ahead Scheme is working very well within the office, it encourages employees to look after themselves on a day to day basis.

Well Being Boost

A study of FTSE-100 companies conducted by Business in the Community (BITC) and Ipsos Mori, found that firms that actively promoted staff well-being and workplace health policies recorded a 10 per cent boost in their financial performance.
