What we do:
A proud member of the Aspire Academy Trust where we are a fully inclusive primary school.
Why we became a healthy workplace:
As a small school we felt it was important that our staff could come together and work in a happy, dynamic and motivated workplace.
As such we are dedicated to creating a meaningful and purposeful Health and Wellbeing programme.
We believe that every individual has the right to:
Mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing.
Recent health and well being activities:
Our recent activities include:
Fresh fruit Mondays
Shout Out Board in the staff room
Recipe of the week
Smooth day Tuesday - smoothies for staff
Success Story:
We are proud of all the strategies that have been put into place and believe the positive impact has been felt in our ethos and work environment.
All staff are encouraged to eat healthily and this is show in a change of healthy eating habits throughout the school staff with staff making healthier choices and trying new things.
This is evidence through our recent Gold Award.
