FOM Launches Guidance on Menopause in the Workplace

The Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) has launched guidance on menopause in the workplace.

This guidance is aimed at women going through menopause and experiencing the impact it has on their working lives. 
It also offers employers practical guidance on how to improve workplace environments for menopausal women.

Having plants in and around the office can reduce employee annual sickness absence by as much as 23%, research by the Hortiucultural Trades Association has argued.  The research, in conjunction with the University of Reading, found that green space and planted areas can help to deliver substantial social and environmental benefits for organisations
