Health Walk today

Date: 2 Nov 2018

As most of you now know, we are having to say goodbye to our Healthy Workplace coordinator, Rachel Faulkner who has grown the Healthy Workplace Awards programme from a tiny seed in to a fine Oak tree of a programme over the last 10 years, leaving it with National recognition, as a leading model of best practice. Rachel also sits on the National RSPH Wellbeing Panel and is highly respected in her field of expertise.

We have been left a fantastic legacy of a programme and service by Rachel and we will support the new lead to continue its growth and progress from now and in to the future ahead.

We wish Rachel every success in her new role as Staff Health & Wellbeing Lead at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.  Good luck Rachel...we miss you already!

Just a quick reminder, if anyone would like to join us on a Health Walk today, to say goodbye to Rachel, at Cardinham Woods, Bodmin, we'd really love to see you there.  We are meeting in the cafe first, if you would like to meet us there from 16.00.

Savings!

One firm Hewitt Associates, who implemented a wellbeing initiative including stress management advice two years ago, beleives the wellbeing programme saves £700,000 a year.

Employee Feedback

"Within 6 months of signing up the enthusiasm and potential of how we can promote Health and Wellbeing throughout the College has taken hold and now after receiving our Bronze, 2014 is looking to be a very exciting year.  The Award programme has enabled us to look into what our staff would like to access and benefit from in the future and ultimately will help towards maintaining a happy, healthy and motivated workforce"- Rebecca Smith, Truro and Penwith College
