Success Story:

We are proud of all the strategies we have in
place and believe that the positive impact is
felt in our ethos and environment.

We have had a particularly difficult year this year with staff illness and have been able to support the individuals through some very difficult times. We have also been able to offer help and support to other members of the team that were affected as a result of this, either through extra work loads or the emotional stress caused.

We take great pride in our information board which is in a prominent position in the staff room, easily accessible to all staff. We update regularly and will all ways source any information needed that we do not already have.

We make sure we have time for people if they want to talk or have any questions, we will always endeavour to find the answers or point them in the right direction.

The motto of Biscovey Academy “WhereEveryone Matters” has long existed and is stillhighly evident in the school to this day.Biscovey recognises that the ethos andenvironment that surround a pupil willinfluence their ability to learn and perform. Bydeveloping health and wellbeing into our everyday culture we are creating opportunities forour pupils to achieve academically.
