Fifth Business Forum

We are delighted to have held our fifth Business Forum at St Austell Brewery.

 

The theme was ‘Healthy Lifestyles’ with 2 fantastic presentations looking at the benefits of physical activity and healthy weight as well as; smoking cessation advice and information from the ‘Stoptober’ campaign, and the latest information study on ‘Vaping’.

Alcohol Use in Cornwall

Of the total 441,000 population aged 16 and over in Cornwall, 102,000 are drinking above the recommended safe levels (just under a quarter), according to public health estimates.  In addition, an estimated 66,500 are 'binge drinkers'.
