Healthy Lifestyle Delivery Advisor

The postholder will work as part of the Healthy Workplace Team supporting local businesses, employers and employees. This will include carrying out Workplace Health Assessments and healthy lifestyle interventions within a workplace setting. The post holder will also deliver education sessions in the workplace setting which will include musculoskeletal health, mental Health, physical activity, healthy eating and stop smoking.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have previous experience of health improvement within a workplace setting and one of the following; Level 3 Education and Training/ Level 4 Obesity and Diabetes Management/ Level 3 Exercise Referral/ Level 4 Lower Back Pain/ Smoking Cessation/ Mental Health First Aid.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible in working regular evenings and travel within county.

Sickness Absence

Communication

Establishing and using effective channels of communication that engage employees are a key component in promoting employee health.  Examples: Health Notice Boards, Team Briefings, Internet/Intranet, Email, Wage Packet Inserts, Staff Surveys.
