National Stress Awareness Day 6th November 2013

National Stress Awareness Day, on 6th November 2013, raises awareness about stress, how to prevent it and how to manage it once it occurs.  The emphasis is on promoting psychological wellbeing of people at work so that they can perform at their peak.

The recession has had a 'significant impact' on the mental well-being of the UK's workforce, according to new research  punlished by Mind.  One in 10 people visited their GP for mental health support last year as a result of recession-induced stress.
